Risk Assessment

Prior to the booking the room will be risk-assessed for anything we consider hazardous; for example electric cabling, sharp or protruding objects and lack of window locks. This visit also gives us an opportunity to assess whether extra safety features will be required on the day.

Peace Of Mind

All of our staff have been given police clearance to work with children. A first aider and fully stocked first aid box will be available at every crèche. For added peace of mind, all of our crèches are fully insured with Morton Michel. Our Crèche workers will always carry a copy of our Insurance Certificate. If you wish to see it just ask!

Emergency Procedures

All staff attending on the day will be briefed on the location of fire exits and meeting points. They will also be familiarised with the venue’s emergency procedures.

Crèche Access

On the day of the booking parents / guardians are required to sign a registration document to ensure that children are only collected by themselves or another nominated person. No adults other than those nominated will be allowed to collect children or enter the crèche.

Staff Ratios

It is imperative that children are always adequately supervised. Our staff : child ratios do not exceed those set out by Ofsted.
